BTA only accepts damage assessments made by our cooperation partners. We choose our cooperation partners based on the quality of services offered and their capability to complete the work within the agreed period of time. We select our cooperation partners carefully and work constantly to ensure that our clients are offered a convenient and high-quality service.
If your vehicle has a valid general warranty, we recommend having it inspected at the dealership. If the general warranty has expired, you must contact our cooperation partner. If you wish to have your vehicle repaired only at the dealership, you can add the relevant extra cover to your policy when purchasing Casco insurance.
You must contact our cooperation partner as soon as possible. It is important to ensure that the damage from a loss event is contained and the cooperation partner can determine the exact damage as quickly as possible.
The decision is made at the earliest opportunity once all of the necessary documents have been received. For our clients’ convenience, we offer express claims handing. If your vehicle has suffered only minor damage as a result of an accident, e.g. a crack in the windshield, we will make the indemnification decision following a phone call on the same day or next working day. We will make sure that you can take your vehicle to a repair shop as soon as possible.
More than 60% of Casco insurance cases are processed within one working day of receiving all of the required documents and we constantly work towards increasing this number. The majority of decisions are made within a few hours.
You can add an extra replacement vehicle cover to your policy when entering into a Casco insurance contract. If you need to use your vehicle frequently, add the extra cover to your policy to ensure that you can move around feely even if your car is in the shop for repairs. You can get a replacement vehicle from a company of your choosing. However, you need to observe the maximum daily limit for the replacement vehicle. According to the new Casco insurance terms and conditions applicable from 10 June, you can also use public transport instead of a replacement vehicle – e.g. use a Bolt e-scooter while your car is in the shop.
If you do not have Casco insurance or did not choose the replacement vehicle cover, we recommend that you contact our cooperation partner, who will provide you with a (free) replacement vehicle for the repair period.
