"InterRisk Vienna Insurance Group" AAS, registration number: 40003387032, registered address: Ūdens iela 12 - 115, Riga, Latvia, LV-1007, hereafter, InterRisk, hereby informs that on 19 September 2017, a decision has been adopted regarding reorganisation of InterRisk.

Reorganisation will be performed as a merger by way of takeover, where InterRisk will be the acquired company and AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company”, uniform registration No 40103840140, registered address: Riga, Sporta iela 11, LV-1013, hereafter, BTA, will be the acquiring company. Reorganization and transfer of the InterRisk insurance portfolio to BTA are expected to come into effect on 27 December 2017.

The InterRisk insurance portfolio includes all insurance agreements, together with all rights and obligations arising from the insurance agreements to be transferred to BTA. The InterRisk insurance portfolio includes also insurance agreements concluded by way of freedom to provide services covering the risks situated in Estonia.

Taking into account § 92(3) of the Insurance Activities Act, all policyholders who are parties to valid insurance contracts that have been entered into with InterRisk by 27 December 2017 (included) may terminate these insurance contracts within 1 month after publication of this notice, by sending a termination application by e-mail (address: ) or by mail (address: bta@bta.ee). All termination applications must be submitted at the latest by 26.01.2017 (included).  

The terms and conditions of the insurance contracts do not change as the result of the transfer.

Based on § 92(4) of the Insurance Activities Act, if a policyholder does not exercise his right to terminate his insurance contract within 1 month after publication of this notice, the policyholder is presumed to have consented to the transfer of the rights and obligations arising from the insurance contract to the transferee, BTA.
