Notice to policyholders of “BTA Insurance Company” SE (BTA Kindlustus)
“BTA Insurance Company” SE (registration number in the Latvian Commercial Register 40003159840, registered address Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 63, Riga, LV-1142, Latvia), hereby informs that, pursuant to a permission granted by the Latvian Financial and Capital Market Commission and in accordance with reorganisation agreement signed on 29 December 2014 between “BTA Insurance Company” SE and AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” (registration number in the Latvian Commercial Register 40103840140, registered address Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 63, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia), the insurance portfolio transfer (involving all insurance agreements (together with all rights and obligations deriving from these insurance agreements) entered into by “BTA Insurance Company” SE as insurer while acting through its Estonian branch “BTA Insurance Company” SE Eesti filiaal (BTA Kindlustus; registry code 11223507; address Lõõtsa 2B, Tallinn 11415)) from “BTA Insurance Company” SE to AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” took effect on 01.07.2015. As part of the same transaction, the Estonian branch of “BTA Insurance Company” SE (currently BTA Insurance Company SE Eesti filiaal (BTA Kindlustus)) transferred to AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company”.
Taking into account § 92(3) of the Insurance Activities Act, all policyholders who are parties to valid insurance contracts that have been entered into with “BTA Insurance Company” SE Eesti filiaal (BTA Kindlustus) by 01.07.2015 (included) may terminate these insurance contracts within 1 month after publication of this notice, by sending a termination application to AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” by e-mail (address: info@bta-kindlustus.ee) or by mail (address: Lõõtsa 2B, Tallinn 11415, Estonia). All termination applications must be received at the latest by 02.08.2015 (included).
The terms and conditions of the insurance contracts do not change as the result of the transfer.
Based on § 92(4) of the Insurance Activities Act, if a policyholder does not exercise his right to terminate his insurance contract within 1 month after publication of this notice, the policyholder is presumed to have consented to the transfer of the rights and obligations arising from the insurance contract to the transferee, AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company”.

By effect of insurance portfolio transfer, AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” becomes the insurance provider with respect to the transferred insurance contracts, replacing “BTA Insurance Company” SE. AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” will be acting in Estonia through the same branch (currently BTA Insurance Company SE Eesti filiaal (BTA Kindlustus)) that “BTA Insurance Company” SE [previously operated in Estonia.
